An Arkansas native, Shana grew up in Osceola, AR. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations from Hendrix College and a juris doctorate from the UA-Little Rock Bowen School of Law. She participates in TIPS (Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice Section) Leadership Academy of the American Bar Association.
Shana is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she currently serves as the co-chair of the Bylaws committee and is a member of the Risk Management committee. As a committed volunteer, she also served ten years with the Junior League of Little Rock taking on roles such as Training Director and All-Arkansas Chair Conference. Her favorite community volunteer role to date has been chairing the 2021 Phenomenal Woman Luncheon for the local nonprofit, Real Images, which works to ensures that young girls and women are empowered and educated to become the healthiest versions of themselves through programs, scholarships, and service.
Shana lives in Little Rock with her son and his dog, Pepper.

Shana has served as a Pulaski County Bar Association board member since 2014 and held the office of President from 2022-2024. Shana has served on the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers board since 2016 and served as the Membership Director from 2020- 2022, and now holds the DEI Chair alongside her Membership Director role. Shana is also Vice Chair of the Life, Health, and Disability Committee, Cyber Security and Data Privacy Committee, Corporate Counsel Committee, Insurance Regulation Committee, and Women and Trial Practice Committee for the American Bar Association.

Shana serves her community as an ACL board member, recent member of the Grants Committee for the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, KUAR Public Radio board member, an active member of Jack & Jill Arkansas Chapter, and a former member of the Single Parent Scholarship Fund from 2015-2020.
